Comments by "Cole Behnke" (@colebehnke7767) on "“Hitler privatized the industries” is ridiculously misleading" video.
So you didn’t watch the video?
11
@peterharris4386 yeah, and it explains how the primary sources for the privatization myth was from a British economics magazine, which described nationalization.
10
So they weren’t a totalitarian state?
9
@peterharris4386 who did they privatize them to? Private individuals, or organizations within the nazi party?
9
What’s Nazi apologist about it? Did you watch the video?
9
@miasmavoid ok what source do you have for that claim? That Hitler privatized industries?
8
@bananabourbonaenima when has socialism been about equality?
7
How so?
6
Did you watch the video?
6
Dam, it’s almost like that was addressed in the video…
6
@bananabourbonaenima dam, that’s the goal of the Nazis, they just thought that you needed a permanent revolution, otherwise socialism would decay back to a previous state, and so a state was required for permanent enforcement of socialism.
6
So why nationalize the stamp collectors, Other countries didn’t do that?
5
@Sal-l3f they had their own stamp collectors club that they pushed people into while punishing independent stamp collectors clubs… Like no other war economy did such a thing besides their fellow socialist ones.
5
@TylerLee-g7f dam, google is so trustworthy, it spews unsubstantiated claim like no other.
5
Private property was suspended in 1933, years before war. And did the “owners” actually own the profits?
5
@TlsMS93 get this georgism out of here.
5
@guerillagardener2237 so government officials bought the company, and that’s somehow privatization?
4
@guerillagardener2237 uh, you did watch the video, did you not? They didn’t privatize the companies, they sold some of the stocks the government had to Nazi party officials. So they sold the government owned businesses to the government.
4
Tell my you didn’t watch the video without telling me you didn’t watch the video…
4
The Nazis suspended private property rights in 1933. Like immediately. So to say they had private property without private property rights is absurd.
4
How so?
4
@guerillagardener2237 uh, so the Soviet Union was capitalist?
4
How is he wrong?
4
Yeah, they weren’t class based socialism, they were race based socialism. They hated communists and Marxists because they thought they corrupted “real socialism” to be class based.
4
@KansasHempMan I care not for your racism, socialist.
3
Yeah, e believed the communism was corrupted by the Jews and that he was recovering the true primitive communism.
3
So you didn’t actually watch the video. Like socialists kill other socialists all the time.
3
How so?
3
Wow, it’s almost like Marxism and Nazism are different socialist ideologies. One based around class and another based around race.
3
@jb34ch1 we have, socialists don’t use those texts anymore because they have already tested them and they result in totalitarianism.
3
Or is it the other way around?
3
How so?
2
When self branded socialists enact socialist policies.
2
@LaborPrince yeah you should actually watch the video before making such claims. Unions with autonomy? In a socialist state? What are you taking about? Yeah if you didn’t pay attention to the video, Nazis weren’t Marxists, they were race based socialists. They abandoned the idea of class conflict and replaced it with race conflict. This is why they supported class collaboration while still be socialist. You have any evidence that they were pawns of big business? Any businessmen with substantial power that weren’t members of the party/state and thus public agents?
2
So how exactly is he wrong?
2
@julymagnus493 just because his definitions flew over your head doesn’t mean he’s wrong. Was the Nazis party a public or private institution?
2
@julymagnus493 I personally disagree with TIKs definitions, but even by any other definition the Nazis were socialists.
2
@julymagnus493 what are you talking about?
2
How so?
