  1. The guarantee given to Poland was a huge mistake, everyone in the Cabinet knew this a few weeks later lol. After doing so however, and the war breaking out, even then Chamberlain, like Palmerston in 1866, could have said "woops sorry mate". Luckily for the Commies and American businesses Daladier was PM of France and Chamberlain had no spine to back down from starting the most pointless and destructive war in British history.

  2.  @suzannehaigh4281  Germany absolutely did not come out better than the victors lol. The victors of course was the United States, Britain was defeated as much as Germany was.

  3. Would have been able to avoid the whole war if "public opinion". through social media, was alot more educated on German desires for friendship and understanding with the UK.

  4. Probably should have just let Germany have Russia and made a good trade deal with them instead of making a mess of Europe and ruining our finances.
