@schwartzy65 Because it's just blatant whitewashing of history. Yes they fought Germany for like 1 week. However they spent about 400 more fighting Commie Russia. It's just political pandering to the victors. Imagine if Germany won WW2 and there were movies about how Brits were ackshually an antagonist of a Frenchman. Just daft. It's misleading to the average uneducated viewer. Unless there's some text at the beginning of the movie which explains how Finland killed 300,000 commies and partook in the siege of leningrad that killed 2 million civilians before surrendering to the commies

"None of this matters" Yeah, that's kind of the problem with plutocrat movies. The truth doesn't matter in the slightest. Having the Germans as the antagonist of a Finn is just stupid. And even offensive from a Russian perspective given that the Finns were allied with the Germans for 95% of the war.

Does drinker take apart Mission Impossible movies when crazy things happen ? Like yes, everything that happens is crazy and totally plot convenient like an MI film, but that doesn't make it a bad movie at all.

They didn't really switch sides they just surrendered, there were some small skirmishes in order to comply with the surrender to moscow but that's about it.

Unlike 95% of people who see this in a theatre, I am not ignorant of history and that Finland was allied with Germany and killed 250x more Commies than they did Germans. Yet this movie would give the average viewer the impression that Germany was the antagonist lol.
