@axios76 Pretty sure they used the same flag they use today. Same as Latvians, Estonians and Lithuanians or any other foreign legion that fought against Russia and alongside the European Allies (Germany, Italy, Hungary, Finland, Romania, Croatia).

Depends what you mean by "did" because given the situation, it's not too surprising that Ukrainians would be saluting the resistance of Russian aggression.

Hence the derogatory term "NPC". These NPCs just clap along, not even knowing what they're clapping for.

@axios76 "no they don't" yes they do. The Ukrainian flag is still blue and yellow.

@jj-uy6qs No but neither can you justify the massacre of Ukrainians either. The Disney-fication of history has been a disaster for humanity there are no "goodies" and "baddies" all sides were equally evil and equally good.

@Sergeant_Camacho Yes sir. Sorry sir.

99% of people don't know anything about WW2 other than "allies good, Germans bad"

@steamedham5412 Most "nazis" wouldn't support "nazi policies" and most "anti-nazis" would agree with alot of "nazi policy".

@jj-uy6qs Yeah that's exactly what I said /big S

The problem is that utterly no one knows what a "nazi" is at all. For Commies and Russians it is anyone who resists Russian Aggression. For Americans, it's anyone who advocates for the political independence of European nation states. Which ironically would conform to the current Russian use of the term. It's a complete mess and you get this situation.

You make it sound like Churchill/ Eisenhower weren't already well aware of the atrocities the Russians had committed against Eastern Europeans for centuries. Churchill was a historian, he would know about these things. Yet he still gave Eastern Europe to Stalin. "Ukrainians joined the N-words" No they didn't. They joined the fight against Russia. Big difference.

@axios76 They fought under their own flags. Meanwhile the Russians banned the national flags.
