  2. Peace in such a war just wasn't possible as one side had to admit defeat and after such losses how could Hitler have defended going back to 1941 borders? Nor could the soviet union afford to give away ukraine or the caucuses but since they just kicked the germans out of the caucuses i don't think they were ever on the table.

  3. yeah peace in 1941 is ludicrous, why would you make peace when you're breaking world records on the number of armies smashed? peace after 1942 is also daft, how could Germany just go back to 1941 borders and pretend nothing happened?
