This is an awful narrative really, the miscalculation of WW2 I am in fact referring to the British Guarantee "to a people whom we know nothing about" and how right Chamberlain would be proven, he thought the Guarantee would be a warning and help Poland in negotiations, instead Poland broke off negotiations and was bolstered in the fact that Germany would also be dragged to war with Britain if Poland went to war over Danzig

  4.  @heycidskyja4668  Can't say I've read much into WW1 but I am sure there is alot of miscalculations such as Germany allowed Austria to "start" a local war and thought it wouldn't escalate, then Grey miscalculated in his telegrams to Germany where he gave an impression Britain wouldn't get involved.
