  2. Apparently the Irish didn't know how to fish or forage. It was stupidity that caused Irish people to starve to death. "Oh, no! Potatoes are the only food we rely on! It's not like we're on an island surrounded by water with clams and fish. What will we do? Let's go to America and bring our stupidity with us. Boston could use a few extra morons." And that's how the simple minded Boston native with Irish heritage came to be.
