@Michael-fl1tm That's because the CEO and the other greedy executives refuse to take even a small pay cut. They're too self-important to take one for the team but still expect their workers to be team players. It's a double standard. We didn't have these problems in the 1970s when workers actually got paid a living wage. Corporate greed is at the root of all our problems from underpaid workers to overpriced products. And of course the blame will be shifted to the workers and away from the factory owners. Blame shifting is their M.O. and the media is in on it. Always blame shifting. Wake up!

Well, unions were strong for about 50 years. Then people took them for granted and now they're weak like they were during the Great Depression. So we have to rebuild the unions.

I put 34% of my paycheck towards my 401k and then they said I didn't qualify for a home loan. So I had to reduce the amount going to my 401k just to buy a house. That being said, do you really think unerpaid workers can afford to buy stocks when 90 percent of their income goes towards bills, rent, mortage, etc.? Your stock portfolio is worthless if you're homeless because you prioritized buying stocks over having a roof over your head. Do you live in the real world???
