  1. Banning books is really, really stupid in the age of the internet where many books are available online for free. Nowadays they have to get rid of computers and phones if they want book banning to be effective. When I was a teenager if teachers, parents, and other authorities wanted to ban a book it would only make me want to read it MORE! Teens are rebellious by nature. Banning books has the opposite effect of what they intend.
