  1. Try convincing a religious conservative of this. I've tried and they're always like, "Well Jesus is coming back soon, so nothing matters." I'm paraphrasing. Something along those lines. Which is such an asinine way of thinking about it.

  2. Smart, smart professor. Those who defend capitalism are incapable of thinking outside the box and don't have any desire to reform the current system, I would add. Edit: They are not shakers or movers. They're either shills or they're too greedy to make sacrifices for anything bigger than themselves and their money interests.
