  10. I can barely afford food and I work in a small town factory that used to pay really well back when the older baby boomers worked there. How are working class people surviving in a low pay economy? Why hasn't there been a huge worker riot yet?

  14. Baby boomers are bad with money. They could have not had kids and invested in more real estate and more stocks and put as much into their 401k as their wages allowed. I was investing nearly half my income in my 401k back when I was a factory worker.

  16. I agree. People just aren't disciplined. Too spoiled by modern conveniences. I was born pre-internet, so I can easily live without it and many other things that aren't necessary.
