  1. All the Vulcans are too emotional in the new Trek films. Spock is bullied as a kid for being half Vulcan in one of the films. And I noticed the bullies displayed too much emotion. Not to mention the fact that bullying itself is usually motivated by emotion and not reason. The new movies make no sense. The thing that bugs me the most is that those inconsistencies are things most fans of the new Star Trek don't seem to notice or care about. It's almost like the writers of the movies said: Let the Vulcans be as emotional and illogical as humans while claiming not to be. Just make them a hypocrite species. It's fine.

  3. The newer Star Trek movies are childish and written for people with short attention spans. I tried to watch 2009 Star Trek but had to stop after Captain Kirk as a kid drove a stolen rot rod off a cliff and then acted cocky in front of a robot police officer. We can all relate to that movies version of Captain Kirk growing up, right? I used to steal cars all the time. 😄 I was like, "OK. That's enough overthetop Hollywood rubbish for me. I'm done." It's so bad. 🤦‍♂️ So I only got through 30 minutes or so of 2009 Star Trek.

  7. The writers don't get paid enough. So they eventually stopped writing anything good altogether.
