  1. Yes. Because religion is a product of groupthink, a mass delusion, and a source of confirmation bias which stupid people misinterpret as "logic". It's really hard to abandon the religion you were born into and most people aren't strong enough to break free from their parents' religion.

  2. I actually respect the Bible as a book of ancient Israelite mythology. But the fact that people think Adam and Eve and Noah were real people is quite alarming.

  3. The Bible is really bad at prophesy. There have always been wars and rumors of wars. Name one time when there wasn't.
