  2. It's easy to make them believe anything. They're a credulous lot. They did a study that showed Republicans are happier than Democrats but I suspect that's only because ignorance is bliss. If you're a sheltered white middle class person who thinks our society is the closest thing to a meritocracy there is then of course you'll be happier. It must be nice for them being that delusional and out of touch with a strong just-world bias to justify their defense of the status quo.
