  1. Most moderate Democrats are just fiscal conservatives who believe in tax exempt status for the rich and that the poor need to suffer more. If you're talking about moderate Dems or neoliberals then I agree.

  2. Shifting the tax burden away from the rich and onto you and me is the Republican way. Democrats need to shout that from the rooftops if they want more votes.
