  1. I actually knew a CEO who lied on the phone and said he was working while at the golf course. They always lie about how hard they work because they know the public would be outraged if they knew how much time they spend partying and golfing and going to useless board meetings where nothing gets accomplished.

  2. That's why financial education is pretty much nonexistent in our public schools and universities. We're not supposed to invest or build capital, we're supposed to consume even if it means being broke all the time.
