Not meeting expectation? That's a b.s. excuse employers at big companies use when they have massive layoffs for no good reason. Most employers think their workers are gullible. I would tell them to their face after firing me. "I don't believe you. I think you're lying. I think you just needed to make up an excuse to fire a bunch of people. Maybe give your top execs an unnecessary pay raise. Why can't you just admit you're overstaffed instead of giving us excuses for firing us?" Just to see the shocked reaction on their faces. Priceless. The HR people would be like, "What? Nobody has spoken to us like that before. How does this employee know we're liars??? Our workers are supposed to be more gullible than that and just take our word for it."
