  1. How about buying a bunch of homes after a housing bubble bursts? Then flipping and selling them once it's a sellers market again. This way you make the billions you spent on houses back and then some. You can also use it to buy businesses and buy a bunch of shares of stock. By only spending money on things that will probably increase in value over time you can spend a billion dollars on things that are an investment rather than a liability.
