  1. If you want job security, you have to find an employer that's desperate for more workers. At the factory where I work they're now offering a referral bonus to anyone who refers someone to them to hire. Job security exists, it's just hard to come by.

  2. Job security is only dead at places that aren't desperate for workers. You find a place that's short staffed and desperate for laborers and you have job security.
