  3. I never blame the leaders. I blame the followers. Leaders are a reflection of the voters. Like George Carlin used to say, ignorant leaders are a product of ignorant voters. I'm paraphrasing. People were always crazy and stupid but now they feel enabled to be crazy and stupid.
