  1. Sart Orius Tnx. I also don't see why people who have no scientific background and haven't even studied climate science feel that they are experts in it. I know I'm not a mechanic and can't give advice on how to fix cars beyond the basics that most people know. So why do climate deniers with no scientific expertise feel they are right about climate change? It's baffling. If people want advice on climate change they should stick with what the experts and scientists say on the subject. Otherwise they're getting bad advise.

Your use of this term makes one assume you get all your information from conspiracy theorists and nowhere else. Alex Jones is a sad gullible conspiracy nut. When I was in kindergarten another kid told me he met a giant. I was almost gullible enough to believe him. Alex Jones is the adult version of a gullible child. "I've got a new conspiracy theory today," says Alex. "I believe it because I scare easily and have limited critical thinking skills."

I'm pretty sure they're the ones responsible for all the media propaganda that plays down how severe climate change will get in the next decade. Much of the media in the United States plays down man-made climate change. It's their job to play it down and pretend that humans aren't responsible for pumping huge amounts of CO2 into the atmosphere. Other countries don't deny it quite as much as the U.S. does because the big polluters have greater control over U.S. media than foreign media. This is one reason climate change denial is more rampant in the U.S. than in Europe.

The name only appears once in the King James Bible in the book of Isaiah. You'd expect it to show up in the New Testament since only Christians use the name Lucifer to refer to the devil. But nope. Only once in the Old Testament. And zero time in various other translations of the Bible including the Jewish Old Testament or Tanakh. Isn't that weird? How do I know this? Just feel free to be impressed by my knowledge. Don't bother asking how I know things. I just do. Why do you suppose the King James translation of the Bible does this transplanting of a Latin name like Lucifer into a traditionally Hebrew/Jewish text? Feel free to conjecture an educated guess. I'll be waiting.

Wouldn't the people who deny it (the coal and oil industries) have more to gain logically? This way they can earn money. Pollution is a big business these days and the polluters promote climate change denial in order to make more money. So, you've been had by the big polluters. Congratulations. Exxon Mobile is proud to have you on their side as they continue to create more carbon emissions. Carbon emissions = $. Planet be fucked.

Close to 98 percent of scientists believe in climate change and the vast majority of them don't appear on TV. And none of them appear on religious stations like Fox News unless Fox News is trying to discredit them in the name of Shell gasoline and whoever else pays Fox News to lie.

  22. I'm old enough to remember when winter was much colder than it is today. Weather reports across the globe have been reporting record highs since at least the 1980's. If you haven't noticed this rudimentary fact, you're just trolling against science. What you've cited are facts but embellishments that few people agree with you on. I don't know if you've seen Cosmos or not but scientists like Patterson actually fought against lead gasoline and lead in American consumer products that were poisoning people. And he won. Scientists like Patterson are the true anti-establishment people. Here's what the government is really up to. The Republican Senate has voted to get rid of scientists in the EPA who warn people about climate change and pollution. They want to replace them with scientists (paid shills) that deny global warming while promoting fracking and polluting our pristine waters. THIS IS THE BIGGEST WAY MONEY IS CORRUPTING OUR GOVERNMENT. The Family Guy episode that makes fun of the Tea Party by claiming that its members ignorantly allow corporations to pollute through deregulation is spot on accurate! The Tea Party has a corporate agenda. P.S. I'm pretty sure the Rothschild's are climate change deniers. Why wouldn't they be? They've surely got loads of money invested in Shell Gasoline, Exxon Mobile, and BP. So, why wouldn't they be? Mr. Rothschild is probably sitting at home right now looking at his big oil investments. I'd bet on it. The big polluters own the government. Not the scientists who have done more to further human progress and technology than anybody. Science gave you your computer and science can take it away. But science is a benevolent god, so it won't.
