  2. I tell Republicans all the time that deregulation just enables rich criminals. None of them listen. They all panic and cry, "Sensible laws equals government overreach!" Maybe not in those words exactly but they might as well. Maybe that's why they don't have a problem with Matt Gaetz. They think sex crimes should be deregulated too.
