This is the generation that keeps minimum wage in red states at $7.25 an hour and doesn't realize that a housing boom for them as homeowners means a housing crisis for both renters and first time homebuyers. They entered the workforce in the '70s and '80s when things were still good and jobs still paid good wages. But they still complain because they only had 3 or 4 channels on the TV growing up and microwave ovens and fast food used to cost more.

  2.  @billybarnett2846  When adjusted for inflation wages are not higher today. Inflation is a thing. And the federal minimum wage hasn't increased since 2009. What year is it now?

  3. I'm wiser than most. I kind of knew this was how our messed up system worked and human nature worked by the time I was in my twenties. Then again, I've always been a bit of a skeptic. Some might even say a cynic.
