  1. You're not a capitalist unless you own a company or a bank or a shipyard or something of the sort. At the very least you have to buy stock in the stock market in order to be a shareholder.

  2. There's a generation gap with college debt, though. Millennials and Gen Zers can rarely get through college without student loan debt but the baby boomer generation and even some Gen Xers grew up when higher education was actually affordable and worth it.

  3. Most of them don't even have a brokerage account. The closest thing they have to owning stock is their 401k which is actually owned by their employer and not them.

  4. Capitalists are smart when it comes to business. Dumb when it comes to seeing how their greed might kill them someday. You can't drink clean water once you've polluted the last freshwater spring. You can't make money in the fishing industry if you kill off the fish. Capitalists are too stupid to see the negative impacts of their actions and how it might affect them. And it's always about them. They're selfish narcissists. That's why when trying to reason with a capitalist you have to appeal to their selfish nature by telling them how things might be bad for them. Because they don't give a rat's ass about anybody else.
