  1. The messed up thing is that things that were illegal for corporations to do 20 years ago are now legal. Deregulation has failed everywhere it has been tried.

  2. As an aspiring book author I'm surprised at the number of rip-off vanity presses that have an F rating from the BBB and one star reviews from its victims who got ripped off. How is something that sketchy even legal? Only in the U.S.A. would that be a thing. Our system is broken. A company doesn't even have to be a megacorporation to be a criminal syndicate. Deregulation has made every unsavory business practice legal.

  3. I always found it odd that Republican voters claim to hate government handouts but the Republican students I went to university with never had a problem with Pell Grants. They also took the stimulus package money when Trump was president. Very odd.

  4. It's really more of a selfish "I got mine, so screw you" attitude with people who feel that way about student loan forgiveness.
