The dumbest people I know got married straight out of high school and then complained when they were raising their kids at their parents house because they couldn't afford even the cheapest appartment.
18
Large businesses like Wal-Mart are part of the problem. Let them collapse.
18
Our infrastructure is failing because Republicans won't pass an infrastructure bill. Bumpy roads ahead. Literally.
18
And these people have such low intellect they don't think that the Great Wall of Trump can be defeated by a ladder or a bomb or a shovel. And they think Mexico will pay for it. That's the funniest part. America is a nation of retarded children, I think.
17
Republican states steal money from public schools and give them to fancy private schools and religious schools. School vouchers are a travesty and should be outlawed.
17
They keep changing the date in which he'll be reinstated. They're like a cult. It doesn't matter how many failed predictions they have; the cult members still believe.
17
Fiscal Conservativism = Anything that enriches the wealthy and corporations and private institutions at the expense of everybody else. Propped up by the myth of trickle down economics and imaginary welfare queens.
17
Mari Jayne Republicans deny science. Trump denied that Covid existed back in March 2020. Many goldfish memory folks forgot about the initial denial. The Republican party continues to deny basic scientific facts like that vaccines work. Clowns! If you believe that prayer works but science doesn't, you were born in the wrong century. Born in the wrong century!
17
"Hi, we're the gay police. Pull down your pants big guy." LOL.
17
Secularism is growing. It's just not growing fast enough to stop religious extremists from stealing elections and destroying democracy.

hey there Minimum wage on the island has little or nothing to do with the island's debt or poverty problem. Especially since Puerto Rico is a US colony and not a state or sovereign nation. (BTW, Australia has a much higher minimum wage than the US and it's doing great economically.) The US made it easy for the island of Puerto Rico's government to borrow by giving its bonds triple-tax-free status. The US made no effort to limit how much the island could borrow, though it had the power to do so. So the island's government did what many Democrat and GOP administrations in Washington have done. It borrowed to provide the services the voters wanted rather than raising taxes to pay for them. The US debt is no more sustainable than PR's debt. The difference is that the US can print all the dollars it wishes to pay back its debts, while PR cannot. Also, since Puerto Ricans are US citizens, the goal should be to raise the standard of living on the island to that of US states, not lower it to that of third world countries. That is a responsibility the US took on when it annexed the island without asking the permission of the people living there. This is clearly a borrowing problem and debt problem. Suggesting that a minimum wage increase (to the pathetically low federal min wage of $7.25 an hour) is the main source of the problem is a false correlation. If Puerto Rico gained statehood it wouldn't have this problem. Here are some minimum wage myths debunked by the Department of Labor. https://www.dol.gov/oasam/programs/history/reich/reports/pay.htm Who are you gonna believe? The department of labor or a fake news
17
thekenner They WANT his promises to be true. Their emotions get in the way of their common sense and judgment about Trump's character.
16
+dmscimo What if a Native American sung it? Besides, a lot of Mexicans have Native American ancestry. If I wanted to be racist I'd tell my fellow whites to go back to Europe and sing God Save the Queen.
16
I laughed when I first saw The Exorcist. Does this mean I'm possessed or did I just find the movie to be more ridiculous than it was scary?
16
There's little hope for America going solar or green with energy. The big oil and power companies have too much power here. If you're rich you might as well invest in foreign companies and donate money to those foreigners who offer such energy. That way they can outpace us and make even the biggest oil supporting hicks realize how dumb we are. Solar has been around since the 1800's but we've never used it. How pathetic are we?
16
The way Rush Limbaugh praises Trump is enough to make you puke.
16
Trump fans have a hard-on for Trump. They don't care about his lies.
16
I think the majority of Trump supporters have an IQ between 55 and 95, so they can't tell Trump is stupid. Say what you will about Hitler, at least he had a eugenics program that targeted the intellectually stunted.
16
He'll never admit he was wrong, though. You'll never hear him say, "I thought I could sue but I was wrong!" The 3 words I was wrong are not in his vocabulary.
16
Conservatives overturning Roe will do that.
16
I'll get you next time, Gadget! 😆
16
whyamimrpink78 The United States is the only developed nation where trickle down is widely accepted. The brainwashing by the wealthy elites (and the paid shills who lie for them as economists) has been very successful. Also, I'm the opposite of this person. At 18 I leaned conservative until I found out Fox News was a lie and religion was a lie. Religion is mythology. Now I'm a nonreligious left leaning person and since the right caters to religious theocrats and wealthy tyrants, what's my incentive to vote for them? What's in it for me and people who are middle class like me? I don't want the tax burden to shift to me just so that some billionaire (who lies about how many jobs he creates and will probably abuse his authority as some sort of plutocrat) can get tax cuts? What's my incentive to be a Republican? I'm not one of the plutocrats, so what's in it for me and people like me?
16
@patevans3709 Narcissists are their own worst enemy. Too much pride really can kill a man. Let the narcissists of the world take that harsh truth to heart. Most of these folks are on the far right and like Napoleon Bonaparte said: "Never interrupt your enemy when he's making a mistake."
16
Voting is easy. It's not like paying taxes. Americans are so lazy now they can't even do tasks that are as easy as lifting a finger. Shame on them.
16
@rebeccathorpe3049 Yup. Home schooling often acts as a cult environment. I've seen it before.
16
My point being that Trump didn't actually win and neither did George W. Bush in 2000. Losing the popular vote should mean losing the election.
16
This is why emotions don't belong in politics. People who have a crush on Donald Trump will always let the crush cloud their judgment.
15
***** The long term is that the wealth gap will become so wide that people will demand socialism rather than suffer at the hands of the wealthy.
15
Oh, no. But I thought Trump was intelligent. :P
15
+Lititia Coleman Ben Carson: Is Britain our ally? Yes. Ben Carson: Oh.... How about Canada? Yes, Ben Carson. Canada is. Ben Carson: Huh. What about France? Sigh. Please drop out of the race for president. You probably can't even name 5 United Nations countries.
15
@ped200014 Wrong. I used to be a conservative like my parents when I was 18. Then I grew up. If conservatives believe in reality then why do so many of them want Creationism to be taught in science class in public schools????
15
How is she NOT in a mental hospital???
15
The sad thing is that he's on way more radio stations than The David Pakman Show is. I can hear Dave Ramsey locally on the radio but I can't hear The David Pakman Show unless I'm online. Dave Ramsey does not deserve the giant platform he has. He lectures people who are making more money than me but are in debt. It's like if you're bad with money but too stupid to stop spending money, call Dave Ramsey.
15
Utah and Idaho = Mormon country.
14
Years ago Glenn Beck spoke out against it and didn't know what it was. People need to learn not to pretend to be expert in things they're not experts in. There's a reason anthropology professors aren't teaching physics. Not their field. Ignorant people in power (like Trump) who don't know their ignorance are dangerous.
14
Jehovah's Witnesses already abuse their members by prohibiting holidays. It's like a religion founded by Ebenezer Scrooge. Christmas?! Humbug! Nobody in my church will have fun! Every day as a Jehovah's Witness will be another boring day at the office! I hope the founder of the faith died a painful death.
14
It probably has something to do with them believing they're voting for something bigger than themselves, but they don't bother to ask a fundamental question: "If i'm not voting for my interests and interests of people like myself, whose interests am I really voting for?"
14
Life in solitary confinement without parole.
14
@robsengahay5614 You're right. It does require some humility. The hypocrisy is that many of them claim to be humble and Christian but lack humility.
14
That's been my take. Let Trump do his thing; as long as it draws votes away from other Republicans he's doing liberal voters a favor.
14
Don't all stupid ideas lead to antisemitism? I can't think of a smart idea that does.
14
+Daniel Bazalar Don't be so sure. Democrats underestimated Trump's support before. The Democrats who are too arrogant to vote will see Trump win again. I'm sure it was low voter turnout among Dems that led to Trump's victory. Trump is what people who don't vote deserve.
13
Cap Iolani Republicans claim belief in personal responsibility but often don't take responsibility themselves. Ironic.
13
Hmmm... This is the opposite of what Trump said he'd do with lobbyists in his speech to Congress. He was lying.
13
This is probably the hardest thing Trump has ever had to face. It will either change him forever or destroy him. It should be fun to watch either way.
13
Almost 0% of Trump supporters know about this. Low information voters.
13
His bible thumping mom told him ass was a bad word and to never use it so he says arse. He's one of those people.
13
@whyamimrpink78 Yeah. How did that work out during the Great Depression?
13
We have stone age brains. Like George Carlin used to say, "We're barely out of the cave as a species." The majority of people are also intuitive thinkers and not very analytical. Intuitive thinking makes most people vulnerable to superstition and magical thinking.
13
We need more orange baffoons. I want to see more Americans with authoritarian tendencies thrown in prison.
