  3. Politics has stood in the way of common sense for decades. People trust Glenn Beck's opinion on climate change over an actual climate scientist's opinion. Today with Covid we are just seeing the more extreme example of politics standing in the way of rationality since the virus actually sickens and sometimes kills. Politics gets in the way of just about everything.

  9. You're right! I would add that most rich people lie about how hard they worked to get where they are. Most rich people were born into privilege with a few exceptions like J.K. Rowling and Oprah. I too am sick of them acting like they are "self-made" billionaires. As if there even is such a thing. Self-made? Nobody helped them? Nobody at all? Impossible.

They have no critical thinking skills if they don't realize the word 'we' in that sentence makes no sense as it obviously doesn't apply to them. They're not gonna see a penny of that lawsuit money.
