@thewholeworldisbeautiful There's actually a word for people who lack wisdom completely and are also wilfully ignorant. Boorish. A boor is a level below an ignoramus. Ignorance can sometimes be cured. There is no cure for a boor. They are below an ignoramus. So far at the bottom that they're unreachable.

@chesterwilberforce9832 MOST people don't like to admit they're wrong. It takes discipline and critical thinking skills to reach a point where you can say, 'I've been very wrong about something and that's OK.' Then grow and learn from knowing you were wrong about something. Most people are too arrogant and/or ignorant and/or undisciplined to admit they can be wrong about a view they hold strongly to. Many are like children. They believe it because daddy said so and this case Trump is their daddy.

@thewholeworldisbeautiful They think egotism is a strength because they lack the knowledge and wisdom to recognize it as a weakness. It's almost as if we have to use somebody's egotism against them and exploit it in order for them to understand that it's a weakness. Even then they might not understand. They'll just think we are the one's who are cruel for exploiting and destroying the foolish 'strong' man. They'll never get it.

They think empathy toward strangers is a weakness and so liberals have too many feelings. They don't realize you can be an ass who wants America to regress to the 1930s and still have feelings.

There is hope for America. We can conduct human experiments on people with a cult mentality so that we have a blueprint for eugenics to rid society of them and save democracy. That sounds too much like something Hitler or Stalin would do, you might say. Yeah. But it just might work.
