They would just convince Americans that Universal Basic Income is socialist and something that they should fear. Fearmongering is the politicians most successful tool since most people have not evolved past being fearful animals.

  3. If you talk about ending capitalism you're viewed as a radical. However, the ancient Roman who spoke out against slavery was also called a radical. That's why almost no writers (including writers of the New Testament) spoke out against slavery. Almost all ancient books either endorse slavery or remain silent on the matter. Dare to be radical.
