  1. I'm always amazed at how people can be smart enough to become doctors and nurses but still be dumb. Knowing that there are doctors who believe stupid things makes me feel better about myself. I might not be a doctor but at least I'm not a psychotic doctor who believes dumb things. Knowing that high IQ doesn't prevent you from being a nutcase makes me think IQ is overrated and that sanity is more important than IQ.

  2. If I met this 'nurse' I would have to be sarcastic at her. "Yes," I'd say. "Just like Nazi experiments. Last night I woke up to an extra arm growing out my shoulder. Oh, no! The vaccine is causing mutations again! At least they let me go home, though. Unlike in 1930s Germany."

  3.  @dutchroll  Exactly. John Nash was a genius but he went crazy. People with high IQs are more likely to develop mental illness for some reason.

  4. She's like a savant. Smart enough to be a nurse, dumb enough to believe stupid things. No offense to actual savants who are pretty amazing people whom I'm impressed by. I wish I was as talented as a savant.
