  1. Jehovah's Witnesses already abuse their members by prohibiting holidays. It's like a religion founded by Ebenezer Scrooge. Christmas?! Humbug! Nobody in my church will have fun! Every day as a Jehovah's Witness will be another boring day at the office! I hope the founder of the faith died a painful death.

  2. What a boring religion too. Can't even celebrate holidays. Just thinking about becoming a JW makes me yawn. YAWN. I would invite the JW preachers into my house and then pretend to fall asleep when they got to the part about no holidays. "Oh, I'm sorry," I'd say. "Your bit about no holidays put me to sleep. What kind of a psychopath would prohibit celebration?"

  4. Are you kidding? Not celebrating your child's birthday or Christmas and telling your kid that only a handful of people will go to heaven is rampant abuse. Emotional and psychological.

  5. Miltonman100 Yeah. Christmas is a melting pot of Saturnalia which celebrated the Golden Age of "peace on Earth" with a bunch of Germanic, Celtic, and Norse holidays. Elves and reindeer are Norse. Nothing to do with the birth of Jesus, who probably wan't born in winter if he existed at all. Funny stuff.
