  2. It makes her feel special. She knows something the rest of us don't. It sounds sad but this is how a lot of them think. Clinging to a conspiracy theory is sadly the only confidence booster they get.

  4.  @tonyhogg9839  That's why they need to administer a fear repressing drug during pandemics. Or genetically modify humans to be less fearful as a species. Either solution would improve things for the whole human race. If aliens ever visit Earth they'll probably tell us they had to genetically engineer themselves to keep from wiping each other out. LOL! I think I just came up with a good sci-fi novel.
