Butch Otter won in Idaho. And he's an anti-education nut who only cares about corporate interests. He ran on the notion that he's a job creator. Oh, yeah. He's a job creator all right. Unfortunately, minimum wage and low wage jobs are the only jobs that we were created, if any. It's amazing what people are willing to settle for. people will settle for crap or a crap candidate as long as the crap candidate belongs to a certain political party. Ignorant and misinformed gullible voters!

Confederate flags with Don't Tread on Me snakes are extreme ideals. That's what worries so many people. Militant racism is how we interpret such things.

LOL. Low information voters is right. You look at some of the candidates who won in certain states and you have to wonder how much stupidity, ignorance, and blind party loyalty played in getting them elected. Some of them are absolutely awful. The ignorant sheep have spoken. Baa! Now I can go and vote based on my lack of knowledge about the candidates I choose next year! Baa!

I voted anyway because I'm fed up with the people running my home state. Even if voting doesn't do much in your opinion it at least sends a message and creates more polarization in states that are run by lunatics. This way the lunatics get less of their agenda accomplished than they hoped to. It makes some difference.

A state that doesn't believe there should be a minimum wage should get rid of it. That way when their state turns into a third world backwater and the other states in America are prospering they can look around the impoverished shithole they created and say, "Dear God! What have we done?!" Sure, it sounds cruel but it's a lot like punishing a naughty child. They learn from experience not to do certain things. It's the only way they'll learn. Then the entire country can look at fiscal conservatism and say, "Yup. We were wrong. It sucks." Lesson learned.

Black Jim What you think of that, man?

Rome had an excuse for failing. Lead in the water supply. The United States has no excuse except too many people who immigrated from the year 1600 and they bring their outdated anti-science and pro-witch hunting views into public policy.

Some Americans are living in the industrial age and information age of science. Most Americans are living in the superstitious dark ages of ignorance that their ancestors were familiar with.

This might explain why anything that's enlightening or open minded freaks them out! Ignorance and superstition is more within their comfort zone.

Æmæth Rex If you want to define race, talk to an anthropologist. The definition of "race" is more complex than the ridiculous outdated notion that there are only five or six major racial groups. Gender itself may not be a social construct but gender roles are a cultural construct. Who says variables don't account for the wage gap? There are variables in every aspect of life. Whether or not you get hit by a car could be a variable. People like to define whites as those of European decent but what about the whites who have lived on the Asian side of Russia for thousands of years? Just across the Ural mountains by a few miles. A racists head just blew up with that question! Boom! Yeah. I'm obnoxious. I apologize.
