  1. No violence? Less violence? Perhaps. But wouldn't the gay student feel more ostracized in a conservative Christian environment? Why would you want to get an education in such a biased environment? They probably wouldn't even be allowed to teach scientific facts like evolution. It makes me wonder if religious colleges like BYU in Utah teach evolution. Hmm.... Lots to think about.

  3. It's true. Every once in a while you hear a story about somebody who's Bible ended up stopping a bullet. Most of those stories are probably made up, though.

  4. People like Huckabee fail to point out that schools do have prayer. Just not public schools. Catholic schools, Yeshiva Jewish schools, and BYU all have prayer. As America becomes less religious, conservatives will have to fall back on something other than religion to gain votes.
