Republican fiscal policies are basically this: We're against welfare, so we're gonna create more poor people who will have to be on welfare. We'll also create an economy where wages don't keep up with inflation. This way everybody stops spending and even the wealthy business people start to ask, "What did we do? Nobody is buying our products anymore. Hey did our welfare check, I mean corporate subsidies check arrive today?! That should help us remain wealthy. The checks just keep keeping bigger. Don't call me a welfare queen. I work hard going to boring meetings that I don't actually have to show up for while my employees do all the grunt work and I loosen my belt and get fatter. It's so hard!!!"

True. Republicans aren't fans of evidence. They deny even the most obvious and observable scientific facts in favor of what makes them feel good about themselves. Like a child that needs to be validated all the time. White supremacists are the same way. They pretty much say: "I don't care that there are civilizations in the world, including black African ones, that predate northern European 'white' civilizations. We're still the greatest race. Besides, I'm too ignorant to know about any other cultures or their inventions that we appropriated from them. I don't even know what appropriation means." They don't think they need evidence. Emotional arguments and professional ego stroking is all they've got.

Like skittles in a skittles commercial. Only with lobbyists and businessmen and politicians who take bribes from oil companies and people who use contradictory terms like clean coal. No such thing. Only in America, do we have a population that is so dumbed down we actually believe in trickle down economics. Other developed nations are in awe that we fall for this. We're worse than Britain. And they're content paying taxes to a royal family that's going broke. There are welfare queens. But most of them are rich like the royal family and don't work while blowing people's taxpayer dollars on unnecessary luxuries. The big unstoppable monopolies who receive large subsidies and pay little or no taxes no different. We're not talking small businesses that actually do benefit the economy. These are the giant slugs of the world. They're America's version of royalty. What a scam! None of it trickles down like scraps of food from the master's table to us--the dogs. Trickle down economics is the biggest lie wealthy businessmen ever told. Not even Warren Buffett believes it. Warren Buffett believes we should tax rich people more. AND HE'S RICH!!! Trickle down economics = The most obvious bull ever told. You'd have to be blind not to see it.

You could travel to medieval times and tell a peasant that money from the king trickles down to him and he'd say, "How come I've never seen any of this money?" Even the medieval peasant isn't gullible enough to fall for it. And some of those peasants were the most gullible idiots in Europe. Loyal to the king for nothing in return because he was laying up his treasures in heaven. Gullible. None of the wealth trickles down.

darttoyou1 It's a problem when a science denier heads the house committee of science. Makes you wonder who appointed him to that position.
