  1. whyamimrpink78 Obama actually cares about poor people and the middle class. He wasn't born with a silver spoon in his mouth like Bush was. Bush was an elitist. Obama wanted to raise minimum wage to $10.10 an hour to help poor people but Republicans said, 'Screw poor people' and they blocked it so that CEO's could earn more money than they deserve.

  2. whyamimrpink78 Lack of funds only happens because Republicans don't manage money by prioritizing and putting education at the top of the list. Instead it goes into the pockets of big business interests. California has higher teacher pay and is able to fund public education, so I'm pretty sure unions are not to blame. Unions are a favorite scapegoat for Republicans. 'Oh, something went wrong? We didn't do it. It was the unions.'

  3. I just hope states that have raised wages see a huge economic boom while other states struggle. That's my hope.

  4. Some rural school districts in red states have cut to a 4 day school week. Why? Because republicans in those states think ignorance is a fucking virtue and so their governments don't fund the public education system like they're supposed to.  The only way to get a Republican to do anything right is to tell them that God wants it. Oh, you know what? An angel appeared to me in my room last night and it scared me at first but the angel said, "Fear not. I am an angel of God." The angel basically went on to tell me that he's disappointed that Republican states don't put more money into important things like education. Are you smarter than God, Mr. Republican Governor? I don't think so.

  5. bouncingsoul818 It's true. Iraq was illegal. If you take a political spectrum test one of the questions asks you how important it is for the US to follow the same rules as the UN. The more trusting you are of the US to go to war without abiding by international law the more conservative it rates you. If we in America keep breaking international law we're not much better than Nazis.
