  1. An antisemite on YouTube once shared a list in the comments of powerful bankers and CEO's who were Jewish. Half the people on the list weren't Jewish at all. I pointed this out and never heard back from them. That mistake must have been too embarrassing to reply back to. Antisemites are dishonest and when you catch them in a lie they can't cover up anymore they back off like cowards.

  3. They're the scapegoats when somebody in the ruling class screws up. In medieval times when the kings messed up they would pace back and forth until: "I've got it! We'll blame the Jews and I'll be off the hook as king!" Also, the Romans didn't like them because the zealots were more rebellious against Rome than most of the other people Rome conquered. Rome saw it as a victory when they expelled Jews from their homeland in Judea and changed the name of Judea to Palestine (named after the Philistines as an insult to Jews). Minorities have been the scapegoats throughout history and Jews have always been a minority in every European country. It's very convenient to scapegoat people who are outnumbered by the majority.
