  1. Me too. I grew up in an average sized city of about 11,000 people. The outskirts of town is mostly farmland, open fields, and not much else. You can't reach people who don't know or don't care that Reaganomics has been screwing them over for the past 40 years. Some of the religious ones literally think God is a Republican and Democrats are in league with the devil. You can't reason with them. I have tried.

  3. I grew up in Idaho. I understand how many rural whites think but I also understand how vapid some of that type of thinking is and refuse to agree with it.
