The border is unimportant since we're gonna have immigrants no matter what and your wall was ineffective anyway. Plus I prefer some immigrants to the ignoramuses who already live in America. I can list the types of Americans who already live here that I hate. Americans I hate is kind of like having a relative that I hate. The economy typically does better under Democrats. That's why we had an economic boom in the '90s and why blue and swing states typically have better economies than red states and blue states tend to subsidize poor red states. The Afghanistan withdrawal wasn't Biden's idea. Trump made plans to withdraw in November after losing to Biden and set the date for when Biden was in office. Why do you think the withdrawal happened so suspiciously quickly after Biden took office? This can easily be fact checked. Easily!

@billyjohnson1977 People are feeling red states too. The fastest shrinking states are Alaska West Virginia Illinois New York Vermont Mississippi Hawaii New Jersey Mississippi Louisiana The California exodus is highly exaggerated.

@billyjohnson1977 The biggest threat to democracy are the authoritarians who already live in America. We saw them at the January 6th Insurrection at the Capitol building. Completely unhinged and brainwashed hypocrites. They back the blue until the Capitol police get in their way. A double standard for sure. I know you hate hearing about the Insurrection over and over. That's why it's worth bringing up over and over.

@billyjohnson1977 It's not taxes that are the problem. Most people are really bad with money and need to learn how to budget and invest most of their income. If you're poor enough you get a tax rebate. If the upper middle class get taxed more it's not my problem. I'm not them. I don't make that much. People who earn that much make enough that if they invested properly they could easily retire as millionaires. If you're making more than 100k a year you should save and invest at least 90% of your income in savings, 401k, Roth IRA, and brokerage account. Instead of spending 90% of it like a consumer sheep.

@billyjohnson1977 Property tax is the only tax I would worry about getting too high. And it's the rich who should be paying the most on that since they own estates so the tax burden doesn't shift to me. Raise the estate tax but lower property taxes on the middle class is the progessive tax we need.

@billyjohnson1977 both Democrats and Republicans are soft on financial crimes. If you commit a financial crime on Wall Street or if you're a wealthy CEO or CFO who swindles his employees while taking a huge cut for yourself you'll never see the inside of a jail cell.

Most Republicans I know either don't know anything about politics and vote the same way as their parents, which is childishly pathetic. Or they vote based on the things they fear. And Republicans have more phobias than any other group. The real issues don't matter to most Republican voters. They'll keep voting Republican regardless of whether or not the party can win based on policy. I used to think that no Republican could become president after Bush's mess. Then we got Trump. Republicans have enough paranoid nutty voters to win no matter what.
