  1. They should start by investigating if Jonah is a true story or a parable. I'm guessing it's a parable. Just a hunch.

  2. rahowhero I find it odd that nobody here investigates which stories in the Bible are parables and which ones are historical. Or at least semi-historical.

  3. Point being, nobody knows which parts of the Bible are intended to be taken literally and which stories are parables. Stories like Job and Jonah need to have fine print at the bottom. "This was written as a parable, dummies. The writers never meant for you to take it literally. Grow up, you fools!"
