  2. Here's something creepy about the escape hypothesis. Maybe when an animal or person dies some piece of a dying cell or whatever mutates to become a virus in order to survive after the cell within the animal or person dies. This explains one way that corpses are so diseased. Sometimes with new strains of a disease or virus. Nasty.
