  1. Jeff Geerling just did a video about a third-party internal storage upgrade for the Mac mini. I always figured that was impossible because they soldered the storage to the SOC—nope. It's a module. Looks like an M.2 until you get really close and realize the key is arbitrarily different. Apple went out of their way to reinvent M.2 just so users couldn't do their own upgrades.
