  1. I haven't even gotten fractional scaling looking good on X11, and I gave up even trying—much better has been going into my WM/DE configs and theme settings and just upping the default font size across the board.

  2.  @notuxnobux  That would explain my issues—I tend to prefer GTK applications and desktop environments. On the Wayland side, though, it's really hard to beat the simplicity of env = XCURSOR_SIZE,14 in my hyprland.conf (I know that's not font size, but you get the idea)
