Highly correlating this response with Wayland dominating X11 as "preferred session type."

For sure. Once you go pac[man] it's really hard to go back[, man]

@autumnjeserich2689 Yeah, it might even be the default. But Hyprland is Wayland-only, so people enthusiastic about Hyprland will also be enthusiastic about Wayland.

The default GNOME desktop group on Arch is also GNOME at its worst. I hadn't really realized how much effort Fedora and Ubuntu put into their theming until I booted into a pure GNOME session on Arch for the first time. 🤢

Gaming on Linux in 2006-2013 was in some ways better than it is now—WINE was really good, and you could pay for CodeWeavers, which did Bottles before Bottles. Most games were at least Bronze, even in multiplayer, and a lot of older titles were actually easier to get running in Linux than they were through Vista or Win7's "compatibility layer." Heck, I could even run iTunes, Photoshop and my Windows-only scientific software through WINE for the longest time!

Does Google Forms auto-translate?

Pantheon is still my favorite desktop environment. I use COSMIC on Arch for the full tiling (and because the Pantheon Arch packages are usually borked), but I still use most of Elementary's application suite (terminal, file manager, calculator) as my defaults.

First and only time in history that AMD has a majority CPU market share! I'm just laughing that, even combining the dGPU and APU share, they couldn't out-muscle Nvidia for even a plurality of graphics options. Also: I made it! I'm the one and only person who chose Pantheon as their favorite DE/WM. 😆

@cameronbosch1213 not if you remember to include the Intel+Nvidia entries. It's super close, though.
