As I understand it, "fairly good" in Aussie is "incredible" in Amercian English. That is, a step above "not bad" and just a shade below "Vegemite-grade."

Yeah, Brodie didn't really acknowledge how much Hyprland emphasizes Discord as a support forum. While my personal take is that Discord is a garbage platform to use as a support forum, even Minecraft is using it as their official feedback "site" now, so I think I've lost that battle...

@NeftisIsHere The more pressing issue with PolyMC (and what distinguishes it from Hyprland and Fabric, IMO) was that the lead dev hijacked the project and was threatening (or joking) to use the project to load malicious code. One of the booted developers had the app's MSA keys (and had them revoked), so the project was dead anyway until the new Poly team got their own.

As you shared a bit ago, vaxrys seems overworked. Maybe let a co-maintainer step up. I've heard good things about a dev named Jia Tan. But seriously: I really do think that appointing someone from the Hyprland team to serve as a designated liaison with the FDO sounds like the best solution for all involved.

@excidium666 You don't think there's a single high-seniority Hyprland dev who would be able and willing to abide by FDO's CoC? My motivation is that there should still be an avenue for contributing changes upstream and communicating the Hyprland impact for changes to portals and other protocols.
