  1. I disagree about your "use more modifier keys" take. Pop_OS! is supposed to be a distro for beginners, and as someone who could never get the hang of the default i3 (and consequently sway) binds¹, I find that the default UI is a great example of "less is more." ¹except on the Steam Deck, which has so many buttons each action can get its own Steam Input bind

  2. Yeah, elementaryOS has that, and it's 🐐ed. COSMIC does have it in limited form, though —the dock applet that lets you toggle tiling also lists out the key tiling binds.
