  1. ​ @Mwrp86 What you're describing is exactly what Apple did with the Game Porting Toolkit, sherlocking all the open source work CodeWeavers have been doing for Vulkan-to-Metal translation. If Valve was going to do similar, they would have done it by now. Instead, they've been shoveling money at CodeWeavers to continue their FOSS development efforts.
