Matt, I think you and Shapiro both, have a better understanding of the "elephant" in regard to truth (of God, Religion, purpose of life, etc.), even though you both might have some differences (because you each have a accurate understanding of different parts of the elephant). However, if you'd like the whole elephant, look into the Church of Jesus Christ of Latter Day Saints.

  2. Matt, I wish there was a chance you'd read this but, after listening to you, I'm convinced you're on the right track. Despite what the official "doctrine" or dogma of any particular sect, you've studied and reached what you consider to be the truth, as least as you understand so far. If you'd like the rest, I would encourage you to look up the Church of Jesus Christ of Latter day Saints. It'll confirm a lot of what you already appear to believe and then add a whole new dimension (and answer your remaining questions). You won't regret it.
