You aren't born with privileges. Privelege is earned. Where do you think European economic success came from? They were just "born" with it? It came from generations of hard work and sacrifice.

If he had drive he would have stayed in his own homeland and tried to make a better life for himself there. Most migrants are only doing so, so they can get free stuff from Europeans. For all the naive people making comments sympathetic to their plight and that they had no choice but had to flee from their war torn homelands, this is total BS. There are numerous other places in Africa they could have fled to (or perhaps they could have stayed and fought for their own homelands instead of a cowardly escape. I say cowardly because they're not bringing their families, whom they've left behind. Just their cowardly selves). Why is it only Europe (and only certain European countries)? The are going for economic reasons, especially the false idea that they'll be able to take advantage of European social programs. Migrants have been interviewed numerous times and this is the false (and sometimes true) expectation they ALL have. Stop being so naive, everyone.

@fineandmellow6359 It's high time blacks stopped blaiming all their problems on "colonization." Every country in the world has been colonized or invaded. If you're solution is to end trade between Africa and Europe and, which would be disaterous to African economies (as it would to any nation), is a perfect example of WHY African nations do poorly economically - horrendous shortsighted ideas. The problem with Africa is the same problem with any group of economically depressed people. It's often due to culture. The best thing for Africa to do is to pick up themselves by their own bootstraps and end aid from other countries. This "aid" keeps africans poor by taking away their incentives to work and be inovative.
