  1. It's not 80% in terms of real value because the the Turkish Lira has devaluated by nearly 70% annually so in real terms the inflation is only 10 % which is by far less than any other EU country this year.

  2.  @susannehartl3067  to put it simple for a dude like you.....if tomatoes are 1 euro a kilo in the EU then it's less than that to buy 1 kilo in Turkey. In terms of foreign currency it's still one of the cheapest places to live a first class life.
